Schlaf - Termine - Tape

Schlaf is music for friends of very quiet catharsis, power pop for thanatologists, a melancholy and fulfillingly unambitious togetherness, and a very dark glimmer of hope in blindingly cruel times. Music as an embrace, as a respite, as an eternal moment full of bumps and bruises.

With band- and ex-band names on the CV such as Sometree, Delbo and the still very much alive Klez.e, the lost-place spaces of this music are exactly the right place for a finding, for encounters in which melancholy and equanimity gently nestle together.

Two guitars, a drum kit, a handful of words, loving togetherness, a band as a safety rope for themselves and an opportunity to regularly lean on each other and and on whatever we have in common in the midst of the polycrisis. Schlaf is group escapism in work overalls.
