Das Feuilleton's debut album is presumably difficult to endure for conformists. Zero point zero zeitgeist, no emphatically casual attitude, long intros, session vibe, guitar-bass-drums without much frills, no production excesses and apparently no pressure to want or have to be pleasing. But this oppositional suits the record all the more.

Timeless, daring and edgy to rugged. Somewhere between fable and slogan. Das Feuilleton is reminiscent of the 90s: Energetic guitar music in a three-piece line-up. Avant-garde drums, completely uninhibited guitars and undisguised vocals. Highly compressed, ambiguous lyrics with a clear lyrical claim.
