In a world where political expression in pop is often either loud and angry or non-existent, there is a need for nuance; preferably in the form of strong FLINTA voices that point out current grievances with a cool head and thus initiate change. Eilis Frawley achieves this feat with razor-sharp precision, while at the same time taking a playful and experimental, subtle look at her surroundings and inviting listeners into her very personal, wonderfully intentional-sounding emotional world.

Eilis Frawley is a classically trained musician. Next to her own music she has played drums for the likes of Anika, Laura Lee & the Jettes, and currently with her own bands Kara Delik (Turkish post punk) or Restless (noisy punk). Eilis is the creator of Bang On, a Berlin-based festival devoted to diversity and to the local music scene.
